“You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.”
Without a question of doubt, living in silence and not speaking your true voice can bring fourth a different position in the way you view life. It’s as though we shun from having to “deal” with things that are uncomfortable, to avoid confrontation and just “push” things to the side.
These are elements of someone that’s still searching for him or herself in a way that is not conducive to their well being. Now granted, we all make mistakes and will continue to make mistakes, but it’s what we do with the knowledge that’s put on the table that defines who we are.
Preaching to the choir as time plows on never understanding the depths of the delivery in your true voice. Time does not wait for anyone, and it will continue to move on whether we chose to move on with it is to be determined. Too many people stick within the realms of habitual like tendencies, which sometimes, can be extremely detrimental to our health.
Maybe you sit in your room eating your face off, hoping your problems will correct themselves. Maybe you’re a person that drinks themselves to an oblivion every night because the stress of life is too much. When we fall into a category of unproductive, and hurtful habits, what are we going to do to remove ourselves from the situation, and continue to make healthy progress?
When we don’t open our mouths to say what’s truly on our minds, we tend to bottle things up and they remain bottled for months and years until one day, it’s too much and we act out or finally speak up about things that happened years prior. What a heavy load to carry.
It’s as simple as admitting your down when you’re down, and owning up to the true underlying issues we all store away. When we shift the perspective, and realize our potentials of what we could be getting out of life, then and only then will you change.
No matter how many preach their words of wisdom to you, if you’re not truly happy with yourself, nothing will ever make you happy. We must endure the journey while understanding that the road taken, can always be paved in a different light.
