“The hardest thing about the road not taken is that you never know where it might have led.”
As things start to shift within your life, you will will always be dealt with a few different hands. As positive as one may seem, it could be the worst decision of your life. As bad as another hand may seem, this may very well be the change you’ve needed for as long as you can remember.
When people hold a certain aspect of “trust” within you, it leaves a very wonderful feeling that someone appreciates you enough to hold you accountable for your actions, and believes that you have the abilities to achieve great things.
No matter how hard of a choice it may seem, the end result will always be what’s meant to be. We can trap ourselves in a situation because it’s comfortable, it’s familiar, and it’s easy. But, when all of these elements are combined, a sense of urgency should be in the forefront.
A sense of a deeper realization through acts of self doubt, start to shine through the clutter, and draw upon a more real perspective. Looking at the grounds in which you have walked for years and wondering if you can continue to walk these same grounds for years to come is scary.
Do we stop growing if we never allow fearful components of life, to rattle our beings? In retrospect, this is the time when you can truly shift your focus from the fear, and elaborate and embellish on the components that will constantly make you a better person.
It’s hard to figure out all of this on your own sometimes, and it’s wonderful to have these people that see everything that you do not, pointing out the areas of your life that are amazing, and the areas that need a little touching up. It’s a tough love approach that should always be embraced.
People try and sugar coat truth and that’s where problems arise. Brutal raw honesty, is the only way you can grow. “The naked truth, is always better than the best dressed lie” In accepting these words of wisdom, know that you’re going to become a more profound version of yourself.
Always steer your life with confidence, never fear the unknown.
