“No performer should attempt to bite off red-hot iron unless he has a good set of teeth.”
When we play with magic we just might be able to pull a rabbit out of a hat and shock not only the world, but ourselves. Sometimes in life we can want something so very bad, and the outcome could be yay or nay. The fact remains that playing your cards in the simplest format, is truly the only way to be as a person. What that means is to always live your life with lightness in your heart.
We can let so much dictate how we feel, and things that are truly out of your control can control every part of your existence. That’s not a category that you ever truly want to be in. Nothing good will ever come from you not speaking up about things that truly mean something to you. As magicians, we can apply the smoke, we can apply the mirrors, but when we truly look deep within ourselves, we will find that life can be and should be very very simple.
If you sit back and really think about what it takes to live an honest and fulfilling life, what do you think needs to happen, to make that happen? We can draw a line always with every decision. We can see that there will always be two sides, and two answers, and it’s the person hovering neutral that will have to make the leap of faith, to impact themselves to disappear or reappear.
When the lights go out, and come back on in a flash, where do you truly want to be? Do you want to be hidden underneath the stage in a box among the other critters roaming around the stage? Or do you want to be in front of everyone, taking a bow and smiling while in the back of your mind you know that you finally had the balls to make the single best decision of your life?
Nothing about your approach was false. Everything you’ve done to this point was from the purest heart known to man. It still almost seems like it’s all one massive illusion, because you haven’t been able to absorb the changes, and the feelings just yet. It’s happened so fast, and like the rabbit disappearing, you have no plans on vanishing, just being present.
